Brian Chu has been named a data scientist at Harmelin Media, where he will focus on media mix modeling and cross-channel attribution. Chu was most recently senior associate director at The Task Force for Global Health.
Crispin Porter + Bogusky has added Rob Palmer and Mike McCommon to its Los Angeles office, naming them creative directors on the agency’s Infiniti account. Palmer joins from Doner Los Angeles, McCommon from Mutt Industries.
Digital agency Rain has made two additions in its Utah office, naming Neal Chamberlain senior digital producer and Meg Kimball digital producer. Chamberlain joins from grocery chain Harmons, while Kimball was previously at Ideal Shape.
Discovery Communications has named Leigh Anne Brodsky executive vice president for Discovery Global Enterprises, reporting to chief commercial officer Paul Guyardo. Brodsky was previously managing director at Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment.
Joanna Brahim has joined Smithsonian Channel as vice president of communications, a newly created position at the cable network. Brahim joins from TLC, where she was senior director of publicity.
Spanish Broadcasting System has made a pair of additions at AIRE Radio Networks, naming Michelle Marino senior vice president of network sales and Erika Marrero vice president of network sales. Both Marino and Marrero were previously at Univision Radio.
Digital media technology company Exponential Interactive has promoted Danielle Cravatt, naming her U.S. head of sales. Cravatt had been vice president of sales for the Southwest region.
Dave Bell, a TV producer credited as a pioneer of reality TV, died last week at age 84 after a battle with cancer. Bell produced the show “Missing … Have You Seen This Person?,” which eventually went on to inspire “Unsolved Mysteries.” Later in his career he worked on documentary series including “LAPD: Life on the Beat” and “Missing: Reward.”
