Best bet on cable: TLC, Skate Diaries, 10 p.m. Sandy Rucker ponders whether to hang up the skates or play through pain.
Top sporting event: ESPN, NBA Basketball, 10:30 p.m. Kobe and the reenergized Lakers take on the Suns in Phoenix.
Best bet on broadcast: ABC, Enemy of the State, 8 p.m. Mostly reruns tonight, as usual, so take in this decent action thriller starring Will Smith and Gene Hackman.
Best bet on cable: HBO, Dennis Miller: All In 10 p.m. Miller performs in a taped appearance from Caesar’s Palace at the recent Las Vegas Comedy Festival.
Top sporting event: ESPN, College Basketball, 6 p.m. No. 20 Syracuse versus No. 7 Villanova in a Big East matchup from Philadelphia.
Best bet on broadcast: Fox, NFL Football, 6:30 p.m. Panthers versus Seahwawks in a primetime NFC Championship game that will help Fox to an impressive ratings week.
Best bet on cable: Discovery, Munich: The Real Assassins, 10 p.m. Documentary covering the Israeli revenge attempt after the infamous 1972 Summer Olympics.
Top sporting event: CBS, “NFL Football, 3 p.m. The Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship.
